Shoot 5

For this shoot I want to expand on the previous shoot and develop it further. I think maybe trying the same affect but in colour would be a good thing to see if it is as affective as the black and white ones. I am planning to go to an open space because I believe an obvious horizon will benefit the type of images I want to achieve.
I hope this shoot shows development in my work and it starts to give me ideas for my final pieces. I hope to have at least 5 different outcomes in this shoot.

Equipment Needed:
Camera
Extra Battery pack
ND Filters

I believe this shoot has gone well because I have a range of different experiments to show from this shoot and I have decided that these types of images work best in either a low saturation or in black and white. Also from this shoot I have decided that the images I am producing work best as a collection of images because there all very similar with slight changes and I feel collectively they created more of an atmosphere.
Looking at the images above I don't believe they are better then the images in my previous shoot but I do feel that this shoot was necessary to allow my work to develop.

When editing I adjusted the levels, curves and contrast on PhotoShop and also changed the saturation in a way that I thought worked well for that individual image.

Overall I am happy with the direction of this project and I feel I'm in a good position for my next couple of shoots.
This image turned out very different from what i thought it was going to look like. I really like that the viewer can't tell what the image is of and also there is no indication that the images is of nature. I think there is too much white in this image and not enough colour but I do like tones of blue throughout the image.
When edited I played around with the curves on PhotoShop just to see how this effects the image. This image was an experiment and I think it works as an abstract of nature.

This image was of a field with some wild flowers and because I moved the camera while the shutter was still open it created an image which looks more like the wavey sea and horizon. I love that one movement of the camera can change the whole dynamic of an image.
When editing I decreased the saturation so it was in black and white and also adjusted the contrast.
