Shoot 5

In this shoot I want to experiment with taking pictures through glass. The photographer Liam Frankland and Harry Callahan inspired me to do so. I found there work interesting and abstract and there style of work fits in with my project. I will go to the forest because I think the treetops will make an interesting shape and will create a spooky atmosphere. I will steam up the glass and take pictures through it and also I will try wiping parts so there clear.

I hope to achieve a series of images which show some interesting abstract shots.

Equipment needed:
·                     Camera
·                     Extra Battery Pack
·                     A sheet of glass.

I'm really happy with the outcome from this shoot. I think the steamed up glass really worked because it makes the image look more abstract. Working with the glass was unpredictable but this made the outcomes more surprising.  A couple of the images above were done though a car window and this created a different effect because it was raining and this distorted the image further. I believe the weather added to the effect of these images because it was raining and dull and this added to the atmosphere of the images.

I didn't edit the images that much because I liked the original images but I did crop a couple because I thought it would be more effective cropped.

Overall I am really happy with the outcome of this shoot but I feel I should do the shoot again but with a different setting.

The image to the left is my favorite because
