David Carson
- David Carson is based in America and is a graphic designer and art director.
- His is best known for his magazine designs and his use of experimental typography.
- He attended San Diego State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
- Carson became the art director of Transworld Skateboarding magazine in 1984, and remained there until 1988, helping to give the magazine a distinctive look.
- I like that he has incorporated the human figure into his different type faces. And I also like that you can still tell what the letter is.
- I think the use of many letters on top of one another creates a different tone to the image and shade.
- The image third down has many different lettering but you can still read the words printed. I like that it is clear but in an interesting way.
